Terms & Conditions, Health Declaration & Liability Waiver

By registering for this event, the participant confirms that he/she has read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions, Health Declaration, and Liability Waiver. These conditions are binding upon submission of registration and payment.


1. Eligibility to Participate

Participation in the event is voluntary. The participant confirms that all details submitted during registration are true and correct. The organizer reserves the right to verify identity, age, and registration details at any stage.

2. Health Declaration

The participant declares that he/she is physically fit, medically sound, and capable of participating in this event. The participant confirms that he/she is not suffering from any illness, injury, medical condition, or physical limitation that may make participation unsafe.

The participant understands that activities such as running, walking, cycling, swimming, trekking, or any other endurance or fitness-based event involve physical exertion and inherent risk.

3. Medical Advice

The participant understands that it is his/her sole responsibility to consult a registered medical practitioner before participating if there is any doubt regarding fitness, health condition, or medical readiness.

4. Assumption of Risk

The participant knowingly and voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation in the event, including but not limited to:

  • Falls, slips, collisions, or accidents
  • Dehydration, exhaustion, cramps, or fatigue
  • Cardiac stress, breathing difficulty, or medical emergencies
  • Road, traffic, weather, or surface-related risks
  • Injury, permanent disability, or death

5. Personal Responsibility

The participant agrees to participate entirely at his/her own risk and responsibility. The participant shall monitor his/her own physical condition before, during, and after the event and shall immediately stop participation if feeling unwell, dizzy, injured, or medically distressed.

6. Emergency Medical Consent

In the event of illness, injury, accident, or medical emergency during the event, the participant authorizes the organizers to arrange first aid, ambulance support, hospitalization, or any emergency medical assistance deemed necessary.

The participant agrees that all costs, charges, and expenses arising from such medical assistance, transportation, treatment, or hospitalization shall be borne solely by the participant and/or guardian/family, and not by the organizer.

7. Limitation of Medical Support

The participant understands that any medical facility, ambulance, first aid point, or emergency response provided at the venue is only supportive in nature and does not guarantee complete medical care or hospital-level treatment.

8. Disclosure of Medical Conditions

The participant agrees to disclose any relevant pre-existing medical condition, allergy, injury, medication dependency, surgery history, or physical limitation if requested by the organizer. Non-disclosure of such information shall be entirely at the participant’s own risk.

9. Infectious Disease / Public Health Clause

The participant acknowledges that participation in a public event may involve exposure to infectious diseases or public health risks. The participant agrees to follow all health advisories, government directions, and organizer instructions applicable on the event date.

10. Liability Waiver & Release

The participant, on behalf of himself/herself, heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, and family members, fully and forever releases and discharges IRONMONK, SPORTYMONK, the event organizers, co-organizers, sponsors, venue authorities, local administration, volunteers, contractors, timing partners, service providers, and associated personnel from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, expenses, or causes of action arising out of or connected with participation in the event.

This includes, without limitation, any claim relating to personal injury, illness, disability, death, property loss, theft, delay, cancellation, route changes, or any other direct or indirect loss suffered before, during, or after the event.

11. Event Route, Schedule & Format Changes

The organizer reserves the full right to change the route, timing, format, venue, distance, race category, event schedule, start time, reporting time, aid station plan, bib distribution schedule, or any operational aspect of the event without prior notice if required for safety, legal, administrative, weather, logistic, or public order reasons.

12. Cancellation / Postponement / Force Majeure

The organizer reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, modify, or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to weather conditions, natural calamity, pandemic, epidemic, riot, strike, curfew, government order, law and order issue, low participation, technical problem, venue restrictions, political disturbance, or any force majeure situation.

13. Refund Policy

Once registration is completed, the registration fee is non-refundable, except where the organizer explicitly announces otherwise in writing. Convenience fee, processing fee, gateway charge, tax, merchandise charge, shipping charge, and any other associated fee, if applicable, shall also remain non-refundable.

In case of postponement or rescheduling, the organizer may, at its sole discretion, provide options such as transfer to the revised date, transfer to another event, coupon, credit note, partial adjustment, or any other suitable alternative. No participant shall have an automatic right to refund unless specifically declared by the organizer.

14. Transfer Policy

Registration transfer to another person, another category, or another event shall only be allowed if explicitly permitted by the organizer and within the timeline announced by the organizer. Any such transfer may attract an administrative charge.

15. Bib / Kit / T-shirt / Medal / Goodies

Event bib, participation kit, T-shirt, medal, goodies, certificates, or merchandise shall be subject to availability, event policy, and category selected during registration. The organizer reserves the right to substitute design, size, color, material, vendor, or delivery mode without prior notice.

No exchange of T-shirt size, race kit item, or merchandise is guaranteed unless specifically allowed by the organizer.

16. Timing & Result Disclaimer

For timed events, results depend on technical systems, chips, bibs, scanners, software, electricity, network, GPS, and operational processes. While every reasonable effort shall be made to provide accurate timing and ranking, the organizer and timing partner shall not be liable for any delay, discrepancy, technical error, missed timing, result mismatch, or ranking dispute.

17. Code of Conduct

The participant agrees to behave in a disciplined and sportsmanlike manner and to comply with all instructions issued by the organizer, marshals, volunteers, police, venue staff, medical team, and local authorities. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify or remove any participant for misconduct, abusive language, dangerous behavior, cheating, route cutting, unauthorized assistance, or violation of event rules.

18. Minor Participants

For participants below 18 years of age, registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian. By allowing the minor to participate, the parent/guardian confirms that the minor is medically fit and that the parent/guardian accepts full responsibility for the minor’s participation, safety, conduct, medical needs, and all consequences arising therefrom.

19. Media Consent

The participant grants permission to the organizer to use any photograph, video, voice recording, interview, race footage, or visual captured during the event for promotion, reporting, publicity, social media, website, press, advertisements, archives, or future communication, without compensation or further approval.

20. Data Usage Consent

By registering, the participant agrees that the organizer may store and use the participant’s registration details for event operations, communication, support, timing, certificate generation, leaderboard, compliance, emergency coordination, promotional updates, and future event-related information, subject to applicable law and internal policy.

21. Personal Belongings

The participant is solely responsible for his/her own valuables, gadgets, apparel, bags, and belongings. The organizer shall not be responsible for loss, theft, damage, or misplacement of any item at the venue, bib collection point, baggage counter, route, or surrounding area.

22. Organizer’s Final Authority

The decision of the organizer in relation to registration, participation, category eligibility, route compliance, cut-off timing, disqualification, results, prize eligibility, merchandise distribution, operational policy, and any dispute shall be final and binding.

23. Indemnity

The participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, venue authorities, and all associated persons/entities from and against any claim, liability, damage, cost, or expense arising directly or indirectly from the participant’s act, omission, negligence, misconduct, health condition, or breach of these terms.

24. Governing Understanding

These terms shall apply to all participants registering through the website, app, offline form, partner channel, or any authorized registration source for the event.


Participant Confirmation

I confirm that I have carefully read and understood these Terms & Conditions, Health Declaration, and Liability Waiver. I understand that participation in endurance and fitness events carries inherent risks, including serious injury or death, and I voluntarily accept full responsibility for my participation.
