Event Information
After introducing many first-of-its-kind events in Odisha such as the Trail Ultra (50KM) in 2023, Backyard Ultra in 2024, Night Marathon in 2025, and Heritage Ultra 100KM in 2025, TEAM IRONMONK proudly presents another historic milestone — Odisha’s First Twin City Marathon: Bhubaneswar–Cuttack Twin City Marathon.
Scheduled for 1st November 2026, this is a real marathon event (42.2KM) designed to take the running culture of Odisha to the next level and inspire more runners to embrace the spirit of endurance.
The event will also feature prize money worth ₹5 Lakhs across different categories and age groups, creating a great opportunity for both competitive and passionate runners to be part of this landmark occasion.
This marathon is not just a race — it is a major step forward in building a stronger long-distance running culture in Odisha.

Elite Qualification Criteria
Participants meeting the below Elite Qualification Time for their respective distance and gender shall be eligible for the Elite Category. We will collect the timing separately and prepare the elite list based on the submitted timing certificates. Elite category participants shall be eligible for exclusive elite prize money and recognition as per official event rules.

Elite applicants must submit an official timing certificate or result link from a recognized race completed within the last 24 months.
Important Rules
- Elite category shall be available only for Full Marathon and Half Marathon.
- Participants registered/approved in Elite Category shall compete exclusively for Elite Prize Money.
- Elite participants shall NOT be eligible for Age Group prizes.
- Elite rankings shall be determined on GUN TIME.
- All Age Group rankings shall be determined on CHIP TIME.
- Only Elite Category provisional result will be declared on stage on race day.
- All Age Group winners shall be declared within 15 days of race completion after verification.
- Age Group results shall be subject to DOB verification, timing audit, camera verification, and anti-cheating review.
- Age shall be calculated as on race day.
- Organizer’s decision regarding qualification, results, verification, disqualification, and prize eligibility shall be final and binding.
